Wat is CRAFTA®?
Crafta was founded by Harry von Piekartz and associated initiators and consists of 3 subgroups: education, patronage association and research group. The organization was developed step by step since 2003 with the aim to support (para-) medical collegues such as physiotherapists and manual therapists as well as dentists and speech therapists in the treatment of patients with craniomandibular and facial problems.
CRAFTA® is aiming for high quality education and stimulates intra- and interdisciplinary co-operation. Research is promoted and first contacts to universities from various countries are made.
Target Group
The courses are designed for (para-)medical collegues (physiotherapists, manual therapists, dentists, orthodontists, speech therapists,…) who have a special interest in the targeted assessment and treatment of the neuromusculoskeletal system of the head, neck and face region.
The patronage association was founded in December 2004 and is accessible to everyone who has joined the course system, is certified or who would like to support the association. The patronage association is aiming to promote the organization CRAFTA, to generate and support regional practise groups and it also organizes special activities.
